General:
I prefer to trade only if the recording generation is known, and what kind of equipment was used in the recording.
CD-R:
Read and Write at 2x, unless you completely trust your equipment.
Disc-At-Once is a must - no gaps or skips between tracks.
I don't care if there's artwork, I can provide scans of any I have.
I ship without cases (unless it's only 1 CD) - I suggest you do the same and save some cash.
Any brand name CD-R is ok (Maxell, Verbatim, Sony, TDK, Kodak, etc), just so long as it has a protective surface.
DAT:
Probably not too much I need to say here, as long as you can clone and know the lineage.
Videos:
Record in Hi-Fi and, of course, SP mode.
Preferably no less than 1st Generation on post-MCIS shows (or Garbage shows after 1997), 3rd on 1997 and earlier.
Record with Maxell Silver or higher, T-160 for shows over 2 hours.
B+Ps:
B+Ps will be done time permitting!
Any name brand CD-R is ok.
Send cases, if they get anything on the recording surface it'll cause skips/pops in the audio.
Include a self-addressed, stamped return mailer.
Other Notes:
I always try to answer all incoming e-mails, though sometimes things get delayed...if you don't hear back from me, just write me another note. If you still don't get a reply, it probably means that I didn't see anything of interest on your list.
Please keep in mind that I'm a busy person, my pending trip to the post office may get bumped back a day or two.
